This stud has recently started with the aim of producing 'Royal Quality' Drum horses suitable for parade duties.
The Drum horse was originally bred by the Queen's Lifeguard's as a dignified parade animal to carry the silver Kettle drums that are the pride of the regiment. The Drum horses to this day lead the Edinbrough Military Tattoo and Trooping the Colour as well as many other ceremonial parades. As it was representing the regiment, it was bred to be a proud, strong and elegant animal, which hopefully be reflected in the winning design.

Prospective purchasers, other breeders and generally the horse crowd
A possible blend of the images attached below, or use entirely your own creative input. I've also included some additional photos of Drum Horses on parade to provide some measure or insight of their look.
The challenge will be including everything while trying to keep the design relatively simple.
The general idea would be having the front of the horse (or all of it, depending on your preference) in parade stance with the front left knee up as if walking. The head and arched neck being the main focus of the image. The neck should hopefully come across as very strong/defined, and the chin of the horse tucked in towards the shoulder. Instead of the standard 'flowing mane' look I was thinking of perhaps simple celtic knots to include the irish influence from the gypsy horses of the stud (as in the tattoo image, perhaps?). If you wish feel free to include an outline or the idea of the drums on the horse. Bridles and tack are also entirely optional. If you feel the Stud name will fit or improve the image, use it, if not, don't worry (can be shortened to T C Drums). Can be coloured, or black and white. I'll be back to offer help and suggestions! Good Luck!
