We have tried several iterations internally but haven't been perfecting it, so we're turning to you! See https://www.sweetcitystroll.com/ for site (in progress).
Here are our challenges:
1) We are trying to convey a) SWEET (the tastes on the tour) b) CITY (an essence of San Francisco) and c) STROLL (that this is a self-guided way to see San Francisco by way of a tasting-tour).
It's a lot of information and a long, 17-character name, packed into a small, simple, versatile logo. We're finding that an "SCS" initial/lettermark doesn't work well.
2) The tour visits several sweet shops, including gelato, ice cream, fudge, truffles, cookies, and more. We want to create an image that generally represents all the "sweets" without focusing on any single food item. IE we don't want an ice cream logo that fails to represent truffle or cookie shops.
3) Ultimately the plan is to use the wristband/app technology to do multiple tours in multiple locations, so it's important that we get our first logo right, and can build on it as we evolve.
UPDATE (March 19): My staff feedback is that early iterations are "too child-like"...Designers are invited to try versions that are more sophisticated, less playful...
