Description – We are creating a show for female entrepreneurs that challenges the stereotypes surrounding women in business. The show presenter is very feminine and the style of the show is entertaining, feminine, even somewhat girly, but we are also powerful and serious about what we are doing. I would like to see that reflected in the logo.
What I Want – 'Ladylike?' is the show title. I'm thinking a butter-yellow background, with the logo itself in black swirly lettering, think feminine swirly handwriting. I would like the black question mark (same font as text) to be contained in the middle of a small white or pastel-colored 'card' (like a little notecard a lady would use) and to be held at the end of the word 'Ladylike' by a dainty, long-fingered, black-gloved hand. My inspiration for this idea is the cover of a book - 'The Little Lady Agency' by Hester Brown. I like quirky, classy, imaginative, feminine, out-of-the-box creations.
What I Don't Want – Nothing corporate-looking or boring. No blocky letters. While the show is fun and feminine, it is not silly in any way, so please don't go that way with your designs."
