We want to have a welcoming appeal but also appear refined.
The focus is mostly on the regular people who need something made for them, but we also want the skilled artisans/tradesmen/creatives to know this is a place for them too.
The logo doesn't have to be obvious and shouldn't simply incorporate hammers and paint brushes. If you go this route, make sure it is impressive and well executed.
An iconic or memorable logo would be great! Something slick that gives a modern or technological feel to classic principles.
One idea we've had is to show PayForTrade in a progression from a start-to-finish project. It starts as a draft/blueprint with rough lines and measurements, then structural materials, then finally a finished product that's maybe still being decorated or painted.
It should also be mentioned that the logo is primarily for placement in the top header of our future website.. likely top left.. so the width should probably have much more than the height.
The words don't have to be separated by spaces (Pay For Trade), it could also be PAYFORTRADE etc.
Thank you for your effort :)
