We market and host arts and craft lessons as evening entertainment to millennials and young professionals in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The Plethorium provides craft lesson sales (ceramics, painting, printing, woodworking, glassblowing, drawing), retail gallery sales floor, and hospitality services including brewpub bar and taps for in-house and locally brewed beer for patrons. We employ local established and budding artists as instructors, allowing them to self promote and sell their work in the gallery, while also offering daily and monthly equipment access passes to returning studio customers.

the name "The Plethorium" is a word that represents a 'place of plenty' or a 'place with a plethora (of)...' I want the customer/viewer to place an emphasis on the abundance/'plenty' referred in the name on being seen as associated with good traits (eg: abundance of customer resources, plenty of creativity, a plethora of entertainment... ect). I want to deter the consumer/observer from associating the word Plethorium with excess or greed.
The Plethorium as a workspace should be viewed as a sanctuary or paradise, as it is many artist and craftperson's hobby retreat space. Think palm tree/hammock -esque
thinking of incorporating image of one or more of the following in design:
- Sailboat silhouette profile
- palm tree
- Golden Spiral geometry
- light only in one window
- Fireplace/wood fire
- Glass half full/full
should elicit the notion the studio space feels like a weekly "sanctuary" or "paradise" for customers
