It Takes A Village is a local community group for new(er) parents in Columbia, MO. We are here to help create a supportive community for parents in our area. We want to help parents connect to each other beyond the social media world. We provide planned play dates and mom's/dad's night outs, and connect parents with local organizations and events. We also plan to start a New Parents Group in which veteran Columbia, MO parents connect with parents of 1 kid 6 mo. and younger to help act as a "mentor"--i.e. give recommendations for daycares, help find kid-friendly services, answer general parenting questions, etc.
Target Audience: parents between age 23-35; parents to kids younger than 6;
Values to communicate: Support. Fun. In-person. Friendship. Helping Others. Community.
Style: A sophisticated youthful design
No set colors--trying to stay away from something too feminine. This is a group for dads too!

I'm up for a slogan, but haven't thought of one that I'm in love with--so if you can think of one and incorporate it in the design, that's perfect!
Really trying to keep balance between feminine and masculine. It's meant to be a group that appeals to moms and dads.
Our most active participants are currently between 27-34 and have between 1-2 children under the age of 5. We have a good mix of working parents and stay at home parents and we have a significant amount of people that are new to the area and looking to connect not only for the sake of their children, but also to find new friends within the area.
