Take our current logo and turn it into a lifestyle brand

We have hosted Trivia Nights (also known as Pub Quiz) in bars and restaurants across the country for 15 years. We recently launched a Trivia podcast, and we have a Trivia card game coming out on Kickstarter in a few months. Our target audience has traditionally been men and women, ages 21-55. Our goal is to become a lifestyle brand that attracts people who value brain health, curiosity, connection, and living a good life; therefore, we want our brand to break Trivia's barriers to entry and push the narrative that Trivia is for everyone. Knowledge is power.

IMPORTANT: We are not looking for a total overhaul of our logo. We have had the attached logo for 5 years and love it; however, we feel like we could benefit from an update, primarily with the owl eye. Notes: -We want to keep the singular owl eye unless you have a truly incredible idea. Owls are wise, nocturnal, and predatory. -Notice how the current owl eye is a quotation mark if you rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Definitely keep that element as it pays homage to the fact that we create Trivia questions. -We like that the owl beak is disconnected from the rest of the icon. -We are not interested in a primary color change (we would like to keep the teal color). We like yellow as a complementary color but are open to other options. The new logo doesn't necessarily have to have multiple colors. One of the focal points of this new logo is to design it so it looks just as great in color as it does black and white. Notice how bad the owl eye looks in the attached white logo on blue background. -We like how the current logo looks like an alcoholic beverage (the view from above of a beer or martini with an olive) if you look directly into the eye. The only problem is that this makes the current logo look a little busy in the middle. The ideal logo would pay homage to the alcoholic beverage in a small, abstract way. -Part of our new branding is using curiosity to connect various elements together to create an A-HA moment. I have also attached graphics from our podcast and card game so you can see the direction we're heading. This new branding strategy is modeled after the famous Rube Goldberg machine.
