The most important thing right now is a logo and brand identity so we can move forward with new menu boards and web design.
We want to have something that represents our friendly, accessible, hippie vibe, and casual rock n roll atmosphere.
Regarding our current logo, the owner has used it for the last 7 years (in not very many places, but it’s on the employee T shirts and hats). We just recently had the logo redrawn digitally so it didn’t look like a “sketch and scanned” logo but now it’s missing the feeling it had when it was sketched. We like the new gradient concept, but realize that's difficult to have printed on some items (and definitely more expensive). We love the tie dye pattern behind our take out menu. The old font is Jester, the owner likes it so if you're doing a playful design, see if that same font works.
I'm open to new ideas that play into the hippie / rock n roll theme we have. The goal is to elevate the brand so we can expand to a few more stores. We want someone to look at our logo and think 'wow, that's totally awesome, their subs must be also. '
What do you think of when you hear the words TOTALLY AWESOME?
FYI : A sub in our logo is not a requirement. The logo could be a gator playing an electric guitar. It could be a T and an A made out of subs.
Feel free to think outside the box.
Hope this gives you enough inspiration. Feel free to message any questions. Thanks!!!
