We are excited to ask for your help designing our logo. Holic is a young woman owned start up business, which is excited to make a big splash in the packaged foods business. We know that being the new team on the block it is going to take something special to make our company stand out. And we think you may be our secret weapon.
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
Design us a legendary logo that will pop out to the consumer as we compete against the Pace, Tostitos and Sriracha’s of the world.
The logo needs to be adaptable across different flavors.
Needs to compel people to at least pick up a jar take a look
Create confidence and feeling of quality and best in class flavor immediately
Lastly it should be fun and light, letting people know these products should be shared with laughter and love.
We manufacture clean label foods. Typically, sauces, condiments and dips will be where our product offerings focus. We anticipate sitting on shelves competing in most grocery stores and hope to become a household name. Our products are not one and done products, but products that hope to work their way into homes and onto tables in a consistent fashion.
The concept behind holic is that our food is "Naturally Addictive" We are about to offer our first product which is called Jalapeno holic. We envision a logo that can be easily tweaked to include our various flavors. As an example holic will remain constant except for the color of the h (green) and the flavor name (jalapeno as an example) will be placed in the space between the top of the h and L above the o. This is just a quick basic idea, but hopefully gives you a point to start imagining some great designs. We are open to all your creativity. We do want the logo to be easy to recognize.
We are looking to target the 25-50 yr old food shopper demographic. People who tend to entertain for sports, or family get togethers and barbeques. Our products belong at the table of any get together or party where people are laughing and having fun. The price point will be higher than your average condiments or salsas so small batch all natural quality needs to come through in our branding.
So some type of fun mixed with quality and pride is important.
