Diseño de inspiración
I'm looking for a logo design for an online men's clothing store. This will be a key part of my brand, for the clothing as well as the site. The store will sell detailed clothing and accessories inspired by the UK club scene for men aged 20-35 within Australia. So club logo's, record label type styles are recommended; maybe even (savage) considering a cutting/sharp type tribal tattoo style fonts. Definitely not typical graffiti or bubble type. The site will have a professional, modern, black and white/greyscale 'urban' feel to it. Please see http://www.concretejunglists.com website which is the same type of look (but not logo of course) the phtography section of this site will be similar . The font must be crisp and legible, and adaptable for later work. I would like an ongoing design relationship for changes and variations.
Part of my marketing includes a faceless mannequin that will be photographed wearing the clothes in urban environments. The face part of the logo should be extractable and look great on it's own as it will be transferred onto the mannequin (either drawn on by an artist or made into correct sized stickers and applied). The face could be of a fit looking, reasonably square jawed, male. Cool looking, maybe again think savage like the joker, criminal or maybe even terminator style. No shades or hair. There's plenty of good examples on http://www.vectorportal.com, but obviously I want unique. Not a side profile. I'm thinking even maybe one side of a face (straight on or at an angle) that can be applied to one side of the mannequin head.
Another thought is the face could be almost 'abstract' (I hope this is the right term) I'm imagining a face done as abstract lines representing the main features (see the dread logo that I just added to my pics)
So as you can see on the face - I am open to interpretation - if this is too open, then let me know and i'll close the gap a bit.
Importantly the STand A should also be distinctive and extractable to use as their own logo and again used for further variations. I think in the main logo the 'Australia' is tiny so that Savage Threads stands out.
Of course I can comment on designs when I see some and could maybe send some things I like that I've seen around but I'll let the creative juices go first in case you have something great that I don't want to stifle ;-)
Once we get going I will fix the prize money!
