We have been trying to modify our company logo for 2 years, but we were not able to find the perfect design to fit our needs and expectations. First off, let’s talk about who we are.
V-TO is specialized in sanitation SMB located in Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1953 by the grandfather of its actual General Manager. The vast majority of our clients are companies and organizations (B2B).
Nowadays, V-TO is headed by the 3rd generation, doing better than ever before. In 1953, the name V-TO was initially inspired by the idea to apply veto power toward buildings and facilities cleaning as people were suddenly asking for better health and sanitation criteria. This idea was not specifically marketed in the branding of our company. However, you can consider it if that puts you on the trail for good ideas!
At our last meetings, we were able to identify three factors that define our brand personality and distinguish us from our competitors:
1. Business Agility: As our team is relatively small and super-efficient, we can react quickly and adapt easily to all kinds of situations. This allows us to meet all the needs and requirements of our customers, which larger and less organized companies are struggling to accomplish properly.
2. Great Expertise: Our team is one of the best within the sanitation industry. Our salespeople are efficient, available and professional while our highly qualified technicians can fix and repair all sort of equipment. Every employee can answer the most complex questions or guide our customers to the right information.
3. Our devotion: At V-TO, our goal is to assist and to help. From emergencies management with express deliveries to specific product search, we always strive to maintain the human aspect in our daily operations. It is our priority to develop a relationship with our customers and to guide them properly in their purchasing process.
As mentioned earlier, V-TO is a family business. Even if the 3rd generation has brought changes and modernity, we still give importance to our past. This is why we want our new logo to be a modern, minimalist one, but with a vintage touch to remind the strength and the longevity of the company through time.
We want the logo to be more abstract than the actual one, combining letters and pictograms. Please avoid any emblem type logos. The red color is essential and has to be the main color you will use, as it distinguishes our brand from our competitors’ using mostly green and/or blue logos. For the font, you may use Serif or Sans Serif.
