We are looking for a logo to represent our agency – Havain.
It should be a typeface only logo – no icons.
One colour can be used in addition to black and white: either pink (eg. r228 g47 b137) or blue (eg. r0 g166 b236). But not both in the same logo. Those RGB's are just for an example - you can decide the tone you prefer.
Ideal logo will work well in plain black and also as white text on either pink or blue backround.
The most important qualities in the design are 1. Clarity 2. Persuasiveness.
Our customers typically have complicated messages or ideas that they need to communicate to their audience (colleagues, clients, bosses etc.). We help them craft those messages so that they’re clear and to the point. So clarity is important in the logo also – it has to be extremely readable.
The other feel we are looking for is persuasiveness. Our clients need to present their ideas in a way that people take action. So they’re looking to influence people. If you know the book Made to stick by Chip and Dan Heath – that’s basically what’s it about.
The company’s name Havain is a finnish word (not exactly but almost) and it means to elucidate, to illuminate or make something that’s abstract concrete.
Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff)
Logo should include full color and black/white version.
72 and 300 dpi files should be supplied for all iterations of logo design in the accepted file formats listed above.
Looking forward to working with you!
