WaRDA (Wastewater for Regional and Decentralised Applications) is a representative group of South Australian companies that specialise in regional and decentralised wastewater management systems and have come together to promote their strengths as leaders in the planning, design, construction, monitoring and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants for small communities.
Through a program of joint funding including Councils, the South Australian Government and the Commonwealth Government, South Australia has developed a strong capability in the design, planning, construction, monitoring and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants for small communities.
These wastewater treatment plants are designed to collect and treat effluent to produce water for a range of reuse purposes while being cost effective on whole of life costs and highly reliable.
