We extract oil and natural gas using shallow wells in the Ironrock region outside of Austin Texas. The target we are looking to reach is very well qualified investors to back various exploration and extraction projects with the capital necessary to purchase equipment, labor, etc...The logo should convey strength, confidence and stability to these investors while at the same time appearing current, agile and new. This is a tough balance, but I personally have used 99Designs on many occasions and am confident that someone in the 99Designs community is capable of nailing it!

The 'Watch Lender' logo that I uploaded is a logo that I had designed for the same client for another venture they were working on. They love that logo and they love the stainless steel on black look. I would use that as inspiration, but please do not let that completely box you in. Furthermore, the target market that the Watchlender logo was intended to appeal to and the target we are seeking for this venture are identical...Rich investors that appreciate the finer things in life and have the money to get them. This is a bit different because it is not a retail business like Watchlender which is why I say not to let it completely box you in. We need to reach investors so we need to convey strength and confidence as well. I look forward to working with all of the great 99Designers.
