This logo is for Youth Rider magazine. It is a youth competitive horse riding magazine for ages 8 through 19 and professional adult members of the horse industry who are trainers and coaches to these competitive riders. It is not breed specific, but we will be launching this magazine through the Arabian Horse industry first at Youth Nationals U.S. Championship Competition.

The horse industry is a classic industry, and often elegant designs, but this is for the Youth rider and we want it to be somewhat modern and playful to catch their eyes. The logo needs to capture emotion-- think of winning those roses or blue ribbon after years of work with your horse, your team mate! Ribbons and garlands of roses signify championships for shows-- no matter what your discipline: 1) saddle seat, 2) western, 3) huntseat, 4) or showmanship to name a few, ribbons and roses are given to all riders who have done their best-- we would like to think about this symbol as part of our logo for "Youth Rider." If a horse is incorporated into the logo-- it cannot be breed specific as we want to expand into the Quarter Horse, Saddlebred and many other competitive horse associations. The logo needs to emphasize growth as a youth rider from age 8 to 19-- becoming better the harder you try. This is an industry like training to be an olympic athlete, you work, work, work and that is how you grow.
