She ran out of the bedroom into the Hall of Valhalla, headed for the armory that stored all the weapons. I knew I couldn’t let her open the safe, so with the temporary quickness of Carl Lewis, I sprinted as hard as I could and arrived there while she was at the keypad, trying to enter the security code. I grabbed her from behind and lifted her up into the air, attempting to remove her as far from the safe as possible. She was kicking and screaming, saying, “Put me down! I’m going to fucking kill you!”
I put her down on the floor in a location that placed me between her and the gun safe, but I still had my arms tightly around her and said that I would let her go if she would relax. She stopped her tirade, and I released my grizzly-bear hug. She turned around to face me and said, “Keep your fucking hands off of me!”
With the threat under control, I held my hands in the air as a hopeful indicator that our scrimmage was over. We were both breathing heavily, watching each other’s every move, and then she dashed over to the wall and snatched the spare key fob to her vehicle. I stayed in my position, because I didn’t recognize her action as being dangerous. She then pushed the button above the key caddie to open the garage door.
Cat walked out of the garage toward her vehicle and said, “Fuck you. I still have a loaded weapon inside my car.”
I was exasperated, and I wanted firepower for myself to combat her threat. I leaped to the safe in a single bound like I was Superman and quickly entered the security code as fast as I could. I reached inside the safe after I opened the door and pulled out my loaded AK-47 assault rifle with an extended magazine. I turned around and ran to the entrance of the open garage and chambered a round with the barrel of the rifle pointing to the floor on my right side just in case she was bluffing. Our eyes locked menacingly onto each other like a pair of nemeses in an old Twentieth Century western standoff. She had backed down and retreated from my opposing show of force, when she suddenly placed her vehicle in reverse, backed out of the driveway into the street, and stopped.
Feeling victorious, I gave her a condescending smirk and said, “Yeah, you know what’s up. You better get your scary ass out of here. You weren’t going to do shit!” She then rolled down her window and poked out her tender lips, gave me a lovable smile like Bambi from the Walt Disney pictures.
I can’t believe after all of that, she’s about to ask me if we can be friends, I thought. So I dropped my guard, prepared for us to call a truce and make up. Cat then said, “Come here, sweetheart.”
I had started approaching her car when she audaciously double-crossed me and pulled out a Smith & Wesson stainless steel .44 Magnum revolver, pointed it at me, and started shooting like she was a gangland enforcer. I quickly turned, zigzagging my way back into the garage for refuge, and ducked around a corner inside Valhalla. Then I heard her tires screech against the asphalt as she pulled off.
I immediately came from my secure hideout holding my weapon, infuriated, and I sprinted down the street barefooted and clothed only in a thin licorice thong, along with a supreme grade of booty meat slapping in the wind like a pair of flapjacks. When I got within the kill zone, I quickly slowed to a complete stop in the middle of the street. Roughly within fifty to seventy-five yards of the car, I raised my rifle to shoulder level, held my breath for steadiness, and made a commitment.
With the silhouette of the back of her skull in my scope crosshairs, and my finger pressed anxiously on the tip of the trigger, I started negotiating the critical precision of sending a bullet to the nucleus of her cranium like a decorated American sniper would. Instantly, within nanoseconds, I had this remarkable insight to analyze the repercussion of my actions and decided to neutralize my lethal mission. I lowered my weapon to my hip and resumed my oxygen intake for a moment while I watched her vehicle vanish into the distance. I was so bothered by the visualization of the damage I could have caused during the heat of the moment that I raised my assault rifle vertically to the night sky and discharged several rounds at the twinkling stars while I screamed like an enraged commando to release the negative adrenaline. All the nerves that made up my bodily chemistry were misfiring right after each other like a Fourth of July celebration.
Disoriented, I paced around a couple of times to get my composure. After I noticed a kid resting on his bicycle watching me like he was traumatized, I made my way back inside my home, closed the garage door to Valhalla, and immediately took off the underwear that was so disrespectful.
