Our brewery is located in the North Carolina Appalachian mountains and is nestled along a river. We'd like to incorporate, somehow, the look and feel of the mountain theme. Being in the mountains and right next to the Appalachian trail and numerous other outdoor activities our focus is on the outdoors man, which is one reason we'll focus heavily on canning our beer.
Currahee is a Cherokee indian word meaning "Stands Alone". It is also a mountain top in Toccoa, Georgia that stands alone on the horizon. Last but certainly not least, the motto of the famed 506th Infantry Regiment, a unit of the 101st Airborne Division. We do not want to step on their toes and do NOT want to use or reference their logo as our own, but rather in honor of them.
Our beers themselves will be named both in honor of those who serve as well as reference the mountains and stream theme.
Beers are bought with the eyes initially and the taste brings them back for more. Logo and website/brand need to be consistent and yet catching and attractive to buy. Not busy, but clean and recognizable. Sweet water is a great example of a very good logo and consistent marketing campaign
