Our game has skins (we call them motifs). We have two (Ruby and Wood) that have been criticized as too old-fashioned -- so we want to one or more new motifs that were designed by people in their 20's for people in their 20's. Our audience is ~60% female and worldwide.
The motif controls the look of the landing page and the main game screen. The layout is preset and there are scaling rules. A motif consists of about 20 .png files that are combined by the program to form the two screens. Two snapshots is all that is needed at this point altho the final result will be a set of 20 files.

 The landing page has a background with the word WordZap in large letters. On top of this are (a) A Facebook button (not alterable), (b) A PLAY button that you can modify, and (c) An area to enter your name. These are added by the program. See the website. An animated landing screen is a possibility.
 The main screen has a grid on the left and a tray on the right into which tiles are placed. There are two buttons, an area of text, and an indicator (arrow). The grid can be 4x4 or 3x3. The tray can be 7x7 or 7x10. The sizes of these areas are fixed.
The font used must be very clear (this game is fast) - avoid clutter. Use only free fonts. Note that the menu area moves to the left side if the screen is short and wide (as on an iPhone) but moves to the top if the screen is tall enough (as on an iPad). The menu area is the same for all motifs. Positively no animation here. We could customize game sounds but that is not required.

It has to work on an iPhone -- so don't make anything too small. It also has to look good when on a large PC.
