Finish design of music technology training app

Syntorial is a music training app that teaches users how to design sound with a synthesizer.

Syntorial was originally released back in 2013, and we started new a redesign in 2019. Partway through the redesign, we switched gears to another project. Now that we're ready to resume the redesign, our graphic designer is no longer available. We're looking for someone to pick up where he left off. There are already several pages designed, so the theme and style are set. Sharp, modern, and flat design, with blues, greys, and oranges. After this contest, we'll go on to work with the winner one-on-one to complete the remaining portions of the app. This contest will be focused on the main Home section. See attached PNGs and PSD. This page was partially finished when we hit pause. However, we need the following changes: - The right half of the page needs to be redesigned (leaving the Table Of Contents section on the left side as is) - The top right section with the message display, looks drab, and has a "code" style. But this app is for musicians, not programmers. We'd like to have a cleaner and more modernized look. - The main section below the message display (it starts with "Progress" at the top left) needs a total re-vamp. The biggest goal is to emphasize the "Next Lesson" section that currently resides at the bottom. This is the main point of this screen so I'd like it moved up and focused. Everything else is secondary and should be arranged around it. - When the user finishes all lessons, the "Next Lesson" section becomes a "Congratulations" section. See "Home - Finished".png. Note, this is only to see how your design will change according to the user's progress. The actual deliverable for the contest will only be one screen. - This is the first page someone sees when they open the app so we really want it to feel great for the users. - Feel free to experiment as long as you stay consistent with the current color scheme and feel, so that it looks like it belongs the design of the table of contents on the left side.

Syntorial

The main window consists of three parts. A main section that can contain various modules with the app: the currently active lesson, the user's progress so far, or a synthesizer. Above this section is a message display, and to the left is a Table Of Contents. In addition, there are various popup windows.

Musical notes. No sheet music is involved in the training. It's all about sound design technology. So no old school music notation elements.
