The app will scan upc and qr codes of grocery store items and then log the information of the item in the app. The app will then cross reference the inventory of the user to online recipes and tell them what they can make. They can then filter by what the user wants ( healthy, gluten free, ect...) The target audience are people between the age of 18-45 that are homeowners or live in apartments. They are looking for simple solutions to eat healthy and cook. Looking for a modern, clean/efficient, but organic look and feel to the app.

Snap chat styled UI. It is for a younger generation and a target audience that are considered advanced with mobile technology use. Therefore, navigation in the app will be swipe motions rather than tapping. Minimal use of search bars and a primary use on swiping between pages and use of scroll and drop menus.

The code scanner - similar to that of snap chat.
Inventory screen - displays the scanned items with time stamps of scan/purchase so that the user can know how long the object has been in the fridge or pantry. The inventory is split into three categories. Fridge, Freezer, Dry...The user can add more categories after at their own discretion.
When you click on an item from screen 2 (any inventory item) it will display the nutritional information of the item. Similar to that of 'lose it'.
The recipe page: Users can scroll (swipe) through recipes that they can make with what they have. (almost like browsing a cooking magazine). They can they filter what they can make based off of what they want( gluten free, healthy, low calorie, no carb, ect..)
