Deciding by Data
Deciding by Data it's a Podcast.
Podcast title: “Deciding by Data”
Podcast tagline: The magic behind building great organizations.
Podcast short description: How do world-changing organizations do what they do? They use data. Listen to Deciding by Data every week to learn how organizations leverage data in making decisions that have global impact.
Branding: A friendly, helpful, insightful podcast about how data is used in the real world. Transparency, honesty, exposing difficulties in collecting and analyzing data. Creative, actionable solutions.
Abstract: Create a weekly podcast based on interviews with people in product, technology, and executive management on how data is being used to run their businesses.
Target audience: The target audience is 1) anyone who is responsible for using data to make business decisions, holding titles like Head of Product, CTO, etc., as well as entrepreneurs generally interested in learning how other people run data-driven organizations.
Create an illustration to convey the idea of some sort of magic happening between the steps necessary to build a great and successful organization or product. Something that for sake of simplification can be visualized in 3 steps (but not only):
Input: data or abstract information, analysis
Process (the magic): Crunching / interpret / iterate
Output: polished and successful product / service / great organization
What happens in between is the “magic” part that can be represented like an invisible process.
A few ideas we came up with are:
A factory with numbers going in and a product or boxes coming out
A cauldron where numbers/data/formulas are mixed to create a potion
Someone at the fork in the road making a decision based off numbers represented above as a thought bubble
Gears crunching information and transforming them in a polished product service
This is up to you. Feel free to be creative and offer an idea you like better!
We need an Illustration that will work well in a rectangular format or square format (thumbnail). Also leave some space to incorporate the title Deciding by Data in the rectangular version and DbyD in the square thumbnail. The illustration will need to be visible or recognizable even at low resolutions like: 170x170 pixel
Technical specification for the cover art
Rectangular format 3x2: Vector format (illustrator or EPS) or raster 6000x4000 pixel, 150dpi
Square format 1x1: Vector format (illustrator or EPS) or raster 4000x4000 pixel, 150dpi
