I'm building a Business plan for a feature film. I'd like a concept poster for the potential film. Allow me to explain:
"This movie is about parallel universes. Here's the synopsis:
Benny Bailey is a man caught in a downward spiral. His relationship with a longtime girlfriend has fallen apart, one of a string of unfortunate events that have caused him to contemplate ending his life. That is until Benny discovers a man who claims to be the holder of a mysterious key of sorts. “Digger” provides Benny crude device that provides the key to parallel universes and the opportunity to start new. However, when a fiendish creature begins following Benny through the portals, he must overcome his own hopelessness to stop the creature from killing everyone that’s near and dear to him. Meanwhile, a mysterious FBI agent tracks down people like Digger and will stop at nothing until his sense of justice is filled. "
Here's the visuals of what i'm thinking, but feel free to take a creative twist if you'd like:
It would be cool if the poster was a shot of a living room. It takes place at night, to the left, half the living room is dilapidated, in the center is a fire portal powered by a CONTRAPTION and on the other side of the portal, is a perfect looking other half of the living room. going through the portal is our steampunk radiation suit main character. In the shadows somewhere in the creature.
Now, My big thing here is, less is more. what does that mean? It means we don't need to see every little detail in the poster. you don't need to show every part of every picture i've provided. As long as you set the tone, and the feel of the story, which those visuals, it will look pretty good.
The images attached are LABELED with what I was thinking for the poster.
