Cold War Map of Europe for Espionage Thriller!

I am looking for a rustic map of Europe which will be included in my upcoming book, Baltic Shadows. The novel is an espionage mystery set in the Cold War period, with a focus on Latvia and its refugee community. I have attached two (2) maps that were previously used in my first book, and I would like this map to be almost a replica in terms of fonts and design, however after that designers are free to use their own inspiration to lend their personal touch. Think of these two template maps as a baseline to start from... The theme of the book is a slow-burn espionage. It is more covert meetings in shadowed back alleys of Eastern Europe than any big explosions and gadgets. The feel of the map should definitely be in the smoky, noir-detective style; feel free to use your own ideas after you've used the two templates I have attached. I have also attached a clip of a current map of Europe to give you the parameters of what size I want the map to be and the geographic area. There is also a Word Document which indicates which countries, cities and bodies of water to include. Please note, the story takes place in 1986, so countries will have different names (i.e. Polish People's Republic instead of Poland, etc.). If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I plan on being very responsive and guiding designers as often as possible.

Technical Stuff: The maps are to be in black and white, no colour and I've been told the final submissions need to be in various formats including EPS, PNG, JPEG and PDF. I believe this is just standard so that my publishers can work with whichever file suits them? I'm rather unfamiliar with that part. Also, please make the images as HD as possible - these maps will stretch across two pages on both hardcover and softcover books - The hardcovers will be 6" by 9" inches, and softcovers 5" by 8".
