Create an elegant Microsoft Word template for visionday.com client reports

Vision Day is a customized one-day strategic planning day for your life and work.

Our target audience is entrepreneurs, professionals (doctors, lawyers, dentists) and corporate executives who are looking to clarify their life purpose, or more fully align their life purpose with their professions. Our clients are often going through a major life transition. Or they feel like they have lost their Mojo and are seeking a recharge.

We would like a new Vision Day report template designed with the appropriate styles added for quick formatting, and table layouts for repetitive data capture.

During Vision Days, we take notes and the write up a full report for the attendee. Parts of the report are boilerplate and other parts are custom. There is no need for the report design to make a distinction

We need a word template that has the same style elements as the current ones we are using in our Vision Day report. We only need the styles that are in use in the report I have attached. There are many more styles in the current template that we don’t use. These need not be duplicated

We would like the report freshened up to coordinate with our new logo which is attached and our document typestyles. We would also like it designed to be more readable and visually appealing.

Additional thoughts

Design the report so that reading it feels like reading an article on medium.com

Implement a hyperclear visual hierarchy, with headers being multiples of the copy type size

Include lots of white space for the eye (and mind) to rest, to orient itself, and relax while reading. this begins with ample line spacing, generous breaks between units of information, healthy margins on the left and the right, lines of text that contain no more characters than about 4 times its type size.

Make it easy to scan for both structure and key points

Create a visual structure that matches the logic of the content (size/visibility/distinction = importance)

The new template should work well in Color and Black and White and should look good printed as well as on a computer screen.

It can be in either landscape or portrait as best befits the look and feel that you come up with.
