Description of project:
I need a Capabilities Statement (sometimes called a “one-sheet”). It is not for prospective clients, per se, but for the gatekeepers to those clients. It needs to be much more formal than our website and other collateral, but I’m looking for something that is visually still lively and engaging (as our games are). It will be handed out in person in full color, and also via email as a pdf. It should all fit onto one page, and MUST include these headers/tabs – scroll for more detail below:
“Capabilities Statement” at top as a header, with Sassy Lassy Trivia & Events logo, website, and contact info in the header as well
“Core Competencies,” which means the things we do & offer
“Past Performance,” which means our larger, well-known clients
“Differentiators,” or how we stand out amongst our competitors
“Company Data,” which includes our year of incorporation, our address, WBENC certification number & WBE logo, NAICS CODES (Note: This is called “Vendor Information” in the example I’m including, but I’d like it to say “Company Data.” The NAICS Codes can go under this tab, too; it should not get its own tab, as in the example.)
I’d also like to include a “Types of Events” tab, and an “About Us” tab, as in the example.
With the exception of the “About Us” copy, the whole page should be mostly bullet points so it can be scanned in a few seconds. I am including an example of a layout that I like very much. I imagine the icons under “core competencies” could be visual short-hands for each of our offerings.
I realize this might be too much content for one page, so wherever possible, I’ve noted the stuff that is most important.
This is my first time using 99designs, and I am totally available for any clarification needed. We will be launching new aspects of our business in the coming months (as well as a completely new company), and will be looking for new logos, web, graphics, and the rest. (Our current designer had to step away for family time.) Will give preferential consideration for future projects to whomever is the best fit for this wee project. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
Sassy Lassy Trivia & Events logo
Our fonts are Quicksand Bold and Trend Sans One, but that is a bit moot for this project, which should be more formal. Make your suggestions, please.
Our colors are: teal + orange
Teal [RGB] is 0/172/200
Orange [RGB] is 245/130/32
My instinct is that this particular piece of collateral shouldn’t have a ton of color, in order to appear business-like and serious enough. I’m not at all adverse to deepening those colors for this piece.
Now in more detail, here are the sections of the Capabilities Statement:
