1. I attach three new images that present our existing collection of climbing skins: they are monochrome on the hair side, having the colours of the spectrum of the logo: pink, orange, yellow, turquoise and green.
2. I attach a picture with competitors skins Kohla: they have a pattern of zebra in black and white.
We are looking to have 'seal skins' designed. Seal skins are a special piece of accessories that you put underneath your ski allowing the ski to glide forward, but not back. Free riders use it to access remote areas.
At the moment, the seal skins we offer out clients are just plain colors. We would like to have more fun designs made for this product (our competitors does zebra patterned ones, for example). We would like to integrate a baby seal icon to the patterns. See below for more indications on design/direction.
KEY POINTS REGARDING THE DESIGN:
a. We would like to receive a baby seal icon that can be integrated in a pattern that we will be using to print on a new model of climbing skins. We will print this pattern on the hair angled part of the climbing skin.
For the pattern dimensions, you can take the same form and dimensions as a pair of skies, because the size of a climbing skin is almost the same form and size of the skis:
* 120mm - 145mm large
* 160 cm – 190 cm long
b. We are interested mostly in receiving design ideas including seals or baby seals. The “baby seal” should match with the POMOCA logo in lines, curves, simplicity.
c. The baby seal (or any other drawing that you decide to do) needs to be part of a pattern from where the climbing skins will be cut, but also used individually (like for instance on the packaging, on the bag of the climbing skin, on the attachment of the climbing skin, etc)
d. Given that this design will be printed on a material with angled hairs, the little details are not recommended. Big lines, repetitive motives, with clear curves or other ideas are welcome. Lines can not be thinner as 0,5 mm approx. The skins will be cut for a big textile piece, so the design has to be a “pattern”. It’s impossible to establish the exact position of a design on a skin
e. ideally we prefer the design with only 2 colors (background + 1 color), but according to the idea, a 3 colors design might be considered as well; not more than 3 colors.
f. there is no limitation of colors (any Pantone); however, the background color should be clear of even considering a not dyed skin (white/beige) is an interesting option cost-wise; have a look at our existing monochrome products: pink, yellow, green, orange and turkish (see pictures attached)
The final design needs to be delivered in Vectorised pdf
