Delivered the high-profile iPlayer for BBC, and then moved on to deliver numerous technical projects across the NHS, including cutting-edge wireless asset tracking and mobile integration. Leads the field in using technological solutions to further clinical performance.
Renowned for his encyclopaedic knowledge of healthcare datasets, Yasir has worked in senior roles and provided consultancy across the full spectrum of NHS organisations, delivering on some of the largest service redevelopment programmes in recent times.
Hassan is an expert in healthcare datasets and informatics, having spent many years trouble-shooting large-scale Health Intelligence and technology projects for the NHS. He now leads Health iQ’s Market Access division offering strategic consulting and advanced analytics to the pharmaceutical industry.

Some examples of our recent achievements include:
Implementation of cutting-edge wireless asset tracking, ROI within a year and cut hospital costs by up to £1 million, as well as multiple clinical benefits.
Installed network to support e-prescribing system in a major London hospital, reducing prescribing time and possibility of prescribing error, whilst linking with medicines management to allow deeper analysis of prescribing habits.
Integrated mobile phones into the wireless network of a large UK hospital, ensuring that key staff are always contactable, are able to respond in an emergency and aided collaboration and knowledge sharing projects.
Deployed a high bandwidth system to allow real-time HD quality communication with other providers anywhere in the world (Telemedicine). This enabled this leading trust to conduct MDTs, share knowledge with providers around the world.
Developed a 'discrete event simulation', modelling the function of the entire IT Helpdesk function of a large London hospital.
Developed the technical specifications for a new National IBD registry,
Managed procurement process of a large and complex UK-wide system, from beginning to successful outcome.
