Free Vertical Jump Training
This contest is for the header of a blog that teaches people how to jump higher for free. This blog is actually done by the owner of the Jump Manual (http://jumpmanual.com) which is the most popular jump training program on the internet.
His name is Jacob Hiller.
16-24 year old male athletes or prospective athletes. Most are in high school with the majority in or about to be in their senior year of high school (USA).
The market is full of hungry kids but they often times don't know where to go for legitimate information. So there are trust issues. We want the site to build trust for the prospect and get them to sign up for the free email course.

URL of dev site: http://205.186.148.135
Header width: 951px
Header height: Keep it as short as possible. Current one is 91 pixels high.
Colors: Should match the current color scheme: Reds, blacks, greys, dark blue, dark yellow. (see the sample header in attached docs).
We need a simple and clean header for this site that pops a bit. We don't want it flashy or loaded with graphics. We just want it to look professional, trustworthy and to fit the genre (fitness/sports/training/athletics).
Need a simple logo using "VJT" or "FVJT" or anything you think would look great as the logo/symbol/icon for the site.
Site headline should say "Vertical Jump Training" and the tagline should be worked in there IF possible "Thou Shalt Raise Up" Isaiah 58:12.
Typography should stand out a bit but not scream for attention.
Optionally you can add images of the author, his signature, or ESPN logos, etc. Those are attached below. I also attached a simple header that Jacob kinda likes.
The most important call to action on the site is the opt in box on the right side and in the footer of the site. If you can add an element or two to draw the eyes to the right of the page that would be awesome.
If you have questions, let me know. I'll be moderating this pretty heavily and give lots of feedback.
