2014 track day season is just around the corner so I want a new helmet to go hit the track safely.
The car I will be taking to the track is a BMW 1M coupe.
Here is a little more information about "M" cars taken from WIKIPEDIA:
"BMW M GmbH (previously: BMW Motorsport GmbH) is a subsidiary of German car manufacturer BMW AG.
BMW M, also known as M-Technik or just "M" (for Motorsport) was initially created to facilitate BMW’s racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicles portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany."
M-badged cars use a distinctive "M" logo, and I want a helmet design using the M logo and it's three colours. I am attaching a few images of M power helmets, none of these designs satisfy me as I see them "too simple".
BMW logo should also be present on helmets "forehead".
I dont think there is any problem with using these 2 logos as it is not intended for commercial use, just my way to support the brand on the track.
I will be using an ARAI GP5WP helmet.
The colours of the 3 stripes on the logo are:
Blue — 0 138 201 (Hex: 008AC9)
Purple — 43 17 90 (Hex: 2B115A)
Red — 241 26 34 (Hex: F11A22)
- DO NOT Use any car shape graphics
- Stick with M colours, black and white. Maybe silver.
