And thank you for your interest in helping me. I need a PowerPoint presentation for an interview that will take place on Wed, the 24th at 1:00 p.m.
I have attached a very basic PowerPoint deck that I have populated with text - in order to show the flow that I am looking for. The job that I am interviewing for is a trade and investment position (economic development/foreign direct investment) for the UK government’s economic development office – UK Trade and Investment (http://www.ukti.gov.uk/invest.html)
My role will be focused on outreach to New England technology companies, start ups, entrepreneurs, and established large corporate companies – in order to attract them to set up their European office from a base in the UK. In this role I will be selling not just the whole of the UK as a potential location for New England companies, but I will also be focused on promoting London’s Tech City - http://WWW.TECHCITYUK.COM/.
Tech City is the third largest start up ecosystem in the world – behind Silicon Valley and New York City.
In terms of look and feel, please feel free to be creative… If possible I would like to see as many graphics/symbols as possible in lieu of text – for example in place of the words/headers for some of the slides – for example accountants, legal, real estate and banks, can we use symbols? I’m looking for a stylized, professional PowerPoint presentation that will demonstrate that I will be a good representative for the UK.
Key notes for the slides:
Slide #2: can we have each row populate when I advance with the enter button?
Slide #9: I would like to show one section at a time and show movement from the center to each group.
Slide #12: This is a draft letter - if we can make it look more like a letter, with a logo of one of the big four firms – if you can… I just want to have an illustration for them of what it would look like. I have attached the letter.
Slide #14: I’m looking to make this slide visually appealing – transition in from one event to another as I hit the enter button
Thank you very much, and I look forward to working with you.
