The Royal Adelaide Show is a 10 day community event which almost 1/3 of the South Australian population attends (half a million people). A day at the Show could include; carnival rides, showbags, live entertainment, farm animals and domestic pets, various demonstrations, browsing market and commercial stands, viewing competitions entries, sampling local produce, and in general a great day out for the whole family. Each evening there is a large fireworks display which closes the Show.
¿Qué te inspira y qué diseño imaginas para tu empresa?
A customised, creative and unique (artwork) trophy design is required for trophies purchased by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia (RA&HS) on behalf of sponsors and awarded to winners in over 60 competitions held at the Royal Adelaide Show encompassing livestock, domestic pets and all forms of human endeavour.
The trophy should have a perceived value and status attached to its acquisition and be associated with quality and prestige. In the future it is envisaged the trophy will be an iconic symbol for Show Competitions as well as of achievement at the Royal Adelaide Show and broadly affiliated with a Royal Adelaide Show win. The design should reflect the history and Charter of the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society (refer to website); while integrating contemporary elements, possibly drawn from the venue (Adelaide Showground) where the Show is held annually.
The Show is a vibrant, colourful, fun, energetic, lively, agricultural and earthy experience. A visit to the Show can be a full day out with the family and attracts people from both city and rural areas of the State.
Refer to the attached brief and what has inspired this trophy idea i.e. the Brand South Australia’s iconic ‘pear trophy’ concept. We are however looking for something unique.
The design should be interesting, have a “Wow” factor, be thought provoking and create discussion, remembering it’s an award recognising achievement across a diverse target and somewhat conservative audience that comprises of both city and rural entrants.
