We need to refresh/evolve the show art for our science & technology podcast

Theory and Practice opens the doors to the cutting edge of biology and computer science through conversations with leaders in the field. Our podcast focuses on how recent advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning technology can create better outcomes in healthcare and therapeutics.

We are looking to refresh and evolve the artwork for our podcast in anticipation of our upcoming new season. Our podcast features conversations with biologists and computer scientists at the top of their fields about how advancements in computer science (machine learning and artificial intelligence) will have an impact on the fields of healthcare and life sciences.

SYMBOLS: In the existing art, a symbol of a Sine wave and EKG wave is used to visually communicate the show's two disciplines. Sine waves being predominately mathematics based, and the EKG waves being associated with healthcare. We are open to using other ways to express the show's disciplines. Feel free to play with the existing symbol, or come up with your own way to communicate the intersection of machine learning/computer sciences and biology/healthcare. ARTWORK: We prefer the new artwork to strictly feature typography/symbols/vector or illustration elements. We do not wish to use any photography in the art. COLOR: We'd like to move away from the orange color/gradient being the dominant color. We'd like the art to have a bit more contrast and pop overall. We are leaning towards wanting the new art to have lighter overall background.
