Atacana is one of the sponsors for the Pharma Competitive Intelligence Conference at the end of September. Besides having the opportunity to participate with a lecture, we can also include a one-page ad about the company. This meeting is basically composed of two types of attendees: pharmaceutical company executives (who are our potential clients) and agencies (mostly Competitive Intelligence agencies like us but also other types of service providers).
One key differentiator for Atacana is our people. We are the only company in the industry in which the entire management team has worked in high-level positions in big pharma companies for several years in a variety of functions, from CI to marketing to medical affairs. It's not common for CI agencies to use such an experienced team managing projects and interacting with the clients on a day to day basis. Therefore, we want to take advantage of our experience and expertise in the ad.
Other important points to keep in mind:
- We are a new agency competing with providers that have been doing this for more than 20 years
- We are the only company currently talking about "exponential advantage" and we would like to position ourselves as a leader in the digital revolution. By digital revolution, we mean the fact that companies used to think locally and linearly and now they need to think globally and exponentially (like Kodak that went bankrupt and was replaced by several other digital companies, like Instagram). Robots, 3D printing, digital workforce, gamification, crowd ideation, agile methodologies...are all relatively new concepts that will transform the way companies in all industries do business. We want to help Pharma companies in this transition. This is the topic of the lecture we will be presenting. We do not want the ad to be about the lecture but I just want you to keep that in mind as you think about the look and feel of the ad.
Here are some details of what we had in mind when creating the ad:
1. Target: Competitive Intelligence and Insights professionals that work for the Pharmaceutical Industry
2. Objective: get the business from clients who are currently not satisfied with their current agencies (we feel this is a low-hanging fruit and it seems to be a common complaint from our business development conversations with clients)
3. Focus: Our key differentiation which is our EXPERIENCED cross-functional team. We have in our team a Medical, a Competitive Intelligence, and a Marketing Expert, who have all been in a director role within the top 10 Pharmaceutical companies.
4. We would like the ad to stand out from the traditional ads and to ensure we get our key messages across.
