We're a non-profit creative writing center that helps writers learn the craft of creative expression and navigate the publishing industry.
¿Qué te inspira y qué diseño imaginas para tu empresa?
We're looking for an image that we can use as the front of a 5" x 7" postcard as well as an image on our website (http://www.museandthemarketplace.org). The postcard is an advertisement for the nation's premier writing and publishing conference, now in its 13th year, that is attended by over 900 people. We'd like the postcard to feel energetic and fun but also convey that this is a serious event for serious writers. We typically aren't attracted to images that make use of "familiar" writing images (pens, paper, people with their heads down writing) and prefer images that use typography in interesting ways or play with the idea of "muse" and "marketplace" in a fresh and interesting way. We also like designs that are clean and not too busy. We're excited to see what you come up with!
I'm attaching previous versions of the poster to show you what we like. We also recently redesigned our main website, so please look at http://www.grubstreet.org to get a sense of our style. I'll attach our logo and our color palette here too--please use these colors if at all possible.
Here is the text that MUST be included on the image, in whatever placement you choose:
