Majordomo helps home buyers take action after the home inspection by providing zipcode specific repair estimates within 24 hours. The product is called a Domoreport. Users upload their inspection PDF. Within 24 hours they’ll receive zipcode specific repair estimates. They can also create a repair & credits request list for negotiations. Buyers no longer need to chase contractors for quotes. Agents no longer need to make their own request list from scratch. Most importantly, they no longer feel the pressure of inspection deadlines and can focus on negotiating their best deal possible with accurate repair prices to back them up. Target Audience: People buying a single-family home. Usually first or second-time buyers. They just received and read the home inspection and have a limited amount of time to decide if they’ll accept the house as-is, request repairs or credits, or terminate the agreement to buy the house. Emotionally, buyers fall in love with a house during the tour. Then, during the inspection problems are surfaced and it can feel like gotchas pop up, and doubt creeps in, “Do I really want this house?” Majordomo helps show them that each problem has a solution. A 1-page PDF flyer available in 4 different color schemes, tied to our color pallet. We’re going to append the 1-page flyer to the end of home inspections (some samples: https://www.nachi.org/home-inspection-report-samples.htm). Buyers will have just read their home inspection and will see this page at the end of the PDF. We want them to know what a Domoreport is (get repair estimates within 24 hours & create a request list for negotiations) and see a clear call to action to click a button that will take them to a simple landing page inviting them to start by upload their inspection (they’ll then click through to the checkout page: https://majordomo.com/onboard). You don’t need to design the landing page. From an emotional standpoint, we want them to desire repair estimates, and then relief that they can easily get them from Majordomo. Optional Design Element 1: The Domoreport’s cost is $99, but in some cases it may be offered for free (because the inspector paid for it ahead of time). A optional variation would be showing it’s normally $99, but already paid/free. Optional Design Element 2: It’s possible we’ll be able to customize the PDF with the inspector’s details: Name, contact info & logo. Optional Design Element 3: We also might be able to offer four color variations. Focus on one, then we can look at variations later. We uploaded the colors we use on other materials to help you match our current look. Reminder: we're looking for a ONE page flyer.
If you have questions, ask. We’ll try to provide feedback as fast & frequently as possible. We also recognize that the final deliverable depends just as much on the copy/text/message as the design - which potentially requires a deeper understanding of the Domoreport and its benefits. Re-use as much copy from existing content, like the website and 2-page flyer, as needed (Again, we're looking for a ONE page flyer). Original copy isn’t required, though we’re open to new ones, and we can help massage the final wording. In other words, perfect copy isn’t required, but go deeper than placeholder text. Related, if I had to pull from two sources for content, I would focus on the flyer and the 60-second video.
