We require a redesign of an A5 Leaflet (see attached pdf) The current leaflet is printed on 300gsm paper, with a gloss laminate finish. It is distributed door to door. The original purpose of the leaflet is to engage the prospect, so they either call us or visit our website The current leaflet does not provide enough information about the product, which is a new innovation for insulating windows. Subsequent research has shown that prospects are making incorrect assumptions about the product, based upon pre-existing products already on the market, rather than correctly deducing that this is a completely new offering. As such, the response rate is lower than expected Starting with page 2 of the attached leaflet pdf, we see a man and woman sitting in front of a window with a winter background. The idea is to convey a sense of warmth and comfort inside, even though it is cold outside. It is this page which is problematic, for the following reasons 1. The man and woman do not reflect our typical customer, who is over 50 and/or retired 2. The headline/text is too cryptic, and does not provide enough information or affirm the prospects need 3. The actual product (WindowSkins) is not shown – only a stock image of a Window has been used – (which may incorrectly make people conclude the product is a film which goes directly on the windows) To fix these problems, we would like the designer to consider the following amendments; a. Remove the picture of the man and woman, and replace with a picture of the actual WindowSkins product. I have attached a photo which I feel would be most suitable. The designer is free to use any image from the website b. Remove the background picture of the window/winter scene – and provide more space for large font/text outlined below – many elderly prospects may have poor eyesight c. Any other creative ideas you may have The style is to be minimalistic and elegant, in line with the design of the website (windowskins.co.uk) and the product itself The revised headline/text will be something like; “Do You Have Cold and Draughty Wooden Windows?” “Fed up with Condensation and Noise?” “Put off by expensive double and secondary glazing?” “Sticky tapes and cling films not an attractive option?” “WindowSkins have a totally new offering” “Inexpensive, Effective and Stylish” “Locally Made-To-Measure, Installed Fast!” “Free No-Obligation Quote” “Call or Visit Us Today!” Finally, Page 1 of the attached pdf, shows the product logo and contact details. We are quite happy with this page, and if the designer would prefer to focus just on page 2, this is okay. However, if the designer wishes, they can submit a refreshed design for page 1 also – since if the leaflet lands this way up when posted, the prospect may assume this is the same leaflet, and not even bother to turn over to see the new page 2 design
