We are looking to deign a flyer for a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Conference, which will be held in October 2018 in Los Angeles. This two-day conference will bring together government leaders, entrepreneurs, key stakeholders with focal dialogue on improving procurement opportunities, regulation and financing, business management skills and financial literacy, workforce technical skills and subject matter expertise, and data sharing. We anticipate more than 200 attendees.
The flyer will be the main source of branding for the event, including colors and graphics (ex. abstract wave vector). In the past, the branding of our marketing and promotional materials lacked uniformed design/concept, but our typical color template includes royal blue, medium/light blue, grays and sometimes green for accent color. I attached samples of our marketing materials.
FEEL FREE TO BE CREATIVE!
Tone: Professional, Modern, Sophisticated.
Color: Shades of blue, maybe gray, maybe green.
U.S.-Saudi SME Forum: Accelerating Growth and International Partnerships
October 1-2, 2018
JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE
Los Angeles, California
With more than 70 percent of the Saudi economy derived from oil and with global prices falling, Saudi Arabia’s national attention has turned to the SME sector as a potential source of economic dynamism whose growth and progress would benefit the country as a whole. This new focus on SMEs is, in part, a result of several actions by Saudi leaders.
This two-day conference will bring together government leaders, entrepreneurs, key stakeholders with focal dialogue on:
• Improving Procurement Opportunities
• Regulation and Financing
• Business Management Skills and Financial Literacy
• Workforce Technical Skills and Subject Matter Expertise
• Data Sharing
This conference comes on the heels of major economic changes enact by the Saudi Government. Most significant of these is Vision 2030, a sweeping set of programs and reforms to reduce national dependence on revenue from oil and diversify the economy by expanding. such fields as health care, education, manufacturing, culture and entertainment, and tourism. Vision 2030 stresses the vital role of SMEs in these efforts: “Small and medium-sized enterprises … are among the most important agents of economic growth; they create jobs, support innovation and boost exports.” But, it adds, “SMEs in the Kingdom are not yet major contributors to our GDP, especially when compared to advanced economies.”
