We are hosting a conference on the subject of church & state. We need a flyer to use in promoting the conference. The flyer will be used both as a traditional flyer (printed and hung up/handed out) and as a web-based promotional tool (included in electronic newsletters, on Facebook, on our website, etc.).
Here is a description of our conference: http://new-wineskins.org/events/201…onference/. The image should convey that the question of the relationship between church and state is not a resolved matter. The conference is designed to explore that question. We are not coming in assuming we have the answer (or that we'll even figure out the answer through the conference).
One idea that's been circulating within our organization is to have an image of a capitol building on one side of the page and images of different religious buildings (church, mosque, synagogue, etc.) on the other side, with the page being ripped in half. But that's just an idea. We've very open to other interpretations.
Things that need to be on the flyer:
The words "Church & State" (we're not picky about ampersand vs. "and"),
Date of the conference "October 27"
Our website "new-wineskins.org"
These words too "Presented by The Institue for the Theology of Culture: New Wine, New Wineskins of Multnomah Biblical Seminary at Multnomah University"
Our logo (bloodsplotch) and our University's logo (small circle with a "M")
See here for an example of how the "boring stuff" (mandatory logos and "presented by" info) can be incorporated: http://new-wineskins.org/wp-content…rtwork.jpg
