Each section of the paper has a "title" statement followed by a short-ish paragraph that explains the concept in more detail.
An example from the paper is (point #4):
title statement: "Complex systems contain changing mixtures of failures latent within them."
short paragraph that goes with it: "The complexity of these systems makes it impossible for them to run without multiple flaws being present. Because these are individually insufficient to cause failure they are regarded as minor factors during operations. Eradication of all latent failures is limited primarily by economic cost but also because it is difficult before the fact to see how such failures might contribute to an accident. The failures change constantly because of changing technology, work organization, and efforts to eradicate failures."
I imagine laying these 18 sections out in some sort of circular/radial/elliptical fashion on a landscape-oriented poster. The idea here is that these concept are fundamental for software engineers to know and be aware of - I would imagine this would be hung on office walls where teams of engineers sit.
There are two footnotes in the paper which I think would be fine somewhere at the bottom in smaller form. I'm attaching a rough idea of layout, open to any and all suggestions on layout...just know that the 18 sections don't have any relation or hierarchy to each other, they each stand alone.
