We would like a poster showing our core principles to share with our employees and customers. We would like this to be normal paper size, but have the capability to be blown up and printed as a poster (if possible). Below, you can find all of our core values along with a description of each. We would like all of this information included. Please let us know if we can provide you with any additional information. Use your creative license to make this a great design!
Customer Obsession - Start with the customer and work backwards. Work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust.
Be a Learner - Never stop learning and always seek to improve yourself. Be curious about new possibilities and act to explore them.
Be an Owner - Think long-term and don’t sacrifice long-term value for short-term results. Act on behalf of the entire company, beyond just your own project. Never say “that’s not my job."
Be a Marketer - If you build a tool, library, or find something interesting - nominate the topic for the blog, white paper or case study. You don’t have to be a writer, you bring the idea and we will write it for you.
Be Honest - Be honest with the customers, your colleagues, and yourself. If you make a mistake be honest about it, learn from it, and move on. Dishonesty breaks everyone trust.
Optimize - Look around corners for ways to improve and optimize processes. Create libraries, recommend tools to buy, explain something interesting you solved in an email for others to learn or question an ineffective process.
Don’t Assume, Simply Ask - Over communicate, re-summarize your understanding. Don’t just assume, simply ask.
Insist on the Highest Standards - Have high standards. Raise the bar and drive the teams to deliver high quality products, services, and processes. Ensure that defects do not get sent down the line and that problems are fixed well so that they stay fixed.
Earn Trust - Listen attentively, speak candidly, and treat others with respect. Be vocally self-critical, even when doing so is awkward or embarrassing. Benchmark yourselves and the teams against the best.
Every Voice Counts - Speak your mind and hear others. Be vocal, speak out, share your concerns or comments. Your voice counts.
Disagree and Commit - Respectfully challenge decisions when you disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable or exhausting. Have conviction and be tenacious. Do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion. Once a decision is determined, commit wholly.
No Task is Beneath You - Operate at all levels, stay connected to the details, review and audit frequently, and be skeptical when metrics and anecdote differ. No task is beneath you.
Take Calculated Risks - Speed matters in business. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not need extensive study. We value calculated risk taking.
Be more than a Technologist - Being a good technologist is required but not enough. You should also understand the business context.
Deliver Results - Focus on the key inputs for the business and deliver them with the right quality and in a timely fashion. Despite setbacks, rise to the occasion and never settle.
