THE DARE PROJECT (2019) is a short film that combines the original critically acclaimed and viral hit short DARE (2005), with a sequel shot 15 years later with same cast and creative team. DARE has over 13M views on YouTube and is one of the most-watched LGBTQ short films online. The new film combines the original with the sequel BOYHOOD-style, creating a unique look at 2 characters lives over a 15-year period. Our target audience is the LGBTQ+ community, particularly gay men, as well as youth (18-35) and art house aficionados.

Movie poster design. THE DARE PROJECT is sexy, surprising, dangerous, real, provocative and heart-wrenching. Motifs include swimming pools, champagne, and a kiss repeated 15 years later. The poster MUST include the original image of the 2 younger boys in the pool about to kiss, but should focus on imagery from the present-day sequel. There should be a traditional credit block--info to be provided. As well as room to add film festival laurels around the borders--laurels to be provided.
I provided a variety of images, but the 2 images of the boys about to kiss--past and present MUST be highlighted. The other images can be used at your discretion, but are not necessary.
