I'm after the artwork for a new single (so like a CD cover if you like).
This is what should be on the cover of the artwork:
Obviously, the artist name is Aubrey Whitfield and the title of the song is Black Martini.
The genre of the track is what I call Syndiepop - a mixture of synthpop, indiepop and pop. Visually, I'm quite open to the designer's interpretation on this song title. But here are a few suggestions to get you started (these are just ideas, I want you to use your own creative imagination so don't be afraid to experiment):
- As the song is called Black Martini, the cover could have some kind of prominent black feature on it to represent the title, or a cocktail glass to represent the martini - something slick and classy.
- I am a fan of synthwave and 80s kind of art (neon etc) as that's a similar genre of music. You can incorporate this style if you want, but it's not necessary, just an idea
- The song is about being on your own in a bar late at night wanting to bump into someone youre in love with. So artwork set in a bar might work? With it being 'black martini' something dark and moody might work
Please be aware that digital distributors require artwork to be at 3000x3000pixels so it has to be a perfect spare and in a decent resolution
I don't have a logo for Aubrey Whitfield, so you can use any font you wish as long as it matches the style of the artwork you've designed.
