11x17 poster to show students a few tips and tricks on using. Studyo
Design brief for poster
Main title: Take control of your homework and study time
Punchy design that draws attention for high school students
5 important things students can do. For each one, showcase a simplified visual representing the action in Studyo
The five tips are:
1. Use a Strong Title
Choose a title that is short yet descriptive. Use key words to help you remember the task
(some kind of way to show a Studyo Task with a generic title such as Homework, and a task with a clear title such as “read pages 4 through 8”)
2. Be Descriptive
In the description portion, write down as many facts or items as you can. The clearer you are, the easier it will be to get your work done right.
Design notes: (Show how the description shows up underneath the task title to give more information. One task with a generic title and no description, same task with clear title and clear description)
3. Break it Down
Big projects can be scary! Break your larger tasks down into smaller, more manageable steps.
Design notes: (Show a task on the Studyo timeline, with clear steps to achieve the goal: Title: Term exam; description: Study chapters 5 to 10; Steps: Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapters 7 & 8, Chapter 9, Chapter 10, each with a date. See screenshots)
Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. When you set a time and date for your work, stick to it. Once you’ve started, the pressure will drop.
5. Mark it as Done
Don’t underestimate the satisfaction of crossing something off of your To-Do list. You will feel accomplished and ready to take on the next task or project.
(Show a task in its “done” state”
