We're producing our first documentary. The audience is people who enjoy documentaries, including children. The subject matter is dinosaurs, fossils, and paleontology, and it is very family friendly.

First, please check out the website www.whydinosaurs.com and definitely watch the latest movie trailer. Since this is a documentary created by a father and son who travelled to various museums interviewing paleontologists and dinosaur enthusiasts, we'd like something that represents a father and son looking up at a large dinosaur skeleton display at a natural history museum museum. We really like the "fighting dinosaurs" at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, which features both a T.rex and a Triceratops (something for everyone!). The architecture is really nice as well. The viewing angle should be from behind or to the side of the father and son, from a low vantage point if possible, reinforcing the fact that they are looking up at these monsters. The boy can be fairly young, somewhere between 5 and 12, so there is an obvious difference in age/size between the father and son. We really like image of the boy on the Dad's shoulders who is pointing. If the boy is older, he can be standing next to the Dad, and the Dad could have his arm on the son's shoulder. It's not important that their faces be visible, although if they have an expression of awe or excitement, that's fine. Ideally they should be caucasian with brown hair, which is representative of the father and son in the film. Optional: The father could have a camera hanging off his shoulder since he is a photographer and together they made this film. The poster can be either vertical or horizontal (we will actually need both anyways). We want the logo to be very visible, either in white or a light color that will pop against a darker vignette. The dinosaur head can also overlap the logo slightly of necessary, as long as you can still read it. The lighting should be a little extreme, and high contrast, like the dinosaurs are coming out of the darkness, but we still want to retain some of the architecture in the background if possible. You can also swap in alternate architecture if necessary to aid the composition. You can use any of the stock Getty images we've included, or we can license the Alamy image, or you recommend your own.
