The brochure will be a bi-fold single 8.5x11 sheet, which once folded in half, will result in four 8.5x5.5 content areas (2 panels x 2 sides). The content can be laid out "vertically" so that the brochure can open up vertically, OR can be laid out horizontally so that the brochure can open up horizontally (like a book).
The brochure is going to be distributed to local small businesses (retailers, service provides, restaurants, etc.) to introduce them to giveplace.com (check out giveplace.com). The content on each "panel" (for a total of 4 panels) is attached in the following pdf file. The designer should design the layout, the illustrations, the diagrams, and choose whatever imagery and iconography that is required for the design of the brochure. Designers can also have flexibility to add content. For example, you can add relevant content from the marketing pages on giveplace.com, specifically the page targeting businesses (http://giveplace.com/businesses/), or you can add examples of items listed by businesses on giveplace.com (or create other fake listings/examples to illustrate what can be listed).
Along with the brochure, the businesses will also receive (inside the brochure), a sticker which they can place inside their stores. The design of the sticker is attached as well for information purposes.
Please note that you will need to design the illustrations/diagrams (why it works, and how it works) that will be used in the brochure. The illustrations in the document attached serves as a guideline of the content needed, but you need to create the designs and choose whatever imagery/iconography needed for them. It will be ideal if these illustrations can be used on our marketing pages on the web site as well as inside the brochures.
