We need a poster (60cm x 90cm, 300 dpi, CMYK) for our Primo “Discovery and Delivery” solution to explain the value to our market. Please note that we will need the open files as well.
A little bit background: When people want to consult a library web-catalogue to research materials (books, magazines, maps, electronic and digital resources like video, movies…and so on) they always utilize an interface for both researching the resources (“discovery”) and loaning these materials (“delivery”)
A little bit background: Recent surveys show that users’ expectations have clearly shifted towards the Google user experience and requires libraries to meet user expectations for speed, ease of use, and relevance of results. Our Primo solution unlocks library potential by providing users with a discovery and delivery interface for finding and obtaining the full spectrum of library materials--print, electronic, and digital--regardless of format and location. Drawing on the latest search technologies and Web 2.0 paradigms, the Primo solution goes beyond Web search engines and other Internet services. A New User Experience: Fun, Fast, and Focused. Another message will be Find it! Get it! Note: The quality and relevance of the results is extremely important in reasearch and academic area.
The advantages are:
Access via web from everywhere anytime
easy & simple access through an user-friendly and Google-like interface
fast search, get immediately relevant results
alleviation of information overload (it means that the users find exactly what they want, without loosing time with hundreds of no-relevant results)
the searcher even finds relevant information/resources that he/she didn’t expect thanks to a “recommendation” service that suggests similar results
Access to all resources of the library (electronically, digital and print/physical resources)
The library can show the full breath of resources, thus increasing the user’s perception of a valuable service
The target group of the posters includes faculties, researchers and students. Please don’t focus only on students.
Please don’t use books/bookshelf - this connection with libraries is old fashion. Please use laptops, mobile devices.
