Freelance Review
Freelance Review (http://www.freelancereview.net) is a design blog that caters to a wide audience in over 130 countries. We recently launched a new series called Round Table Review (RTR for short) where prominent designers and bloggers share weekly insights. We need you to design a promotional poster / advertisement for RTR. Since we are a design site this is your opportunity to really unleash your creativity. Think of the coolest Coke poster design you've ever seen - we want something even cooler than that! Bonus points for great color schemes, awesome vector graphics and cool typography - no stock photos please. The top 20 posters will ultimately be featured in an upcoming HD Inspiration gallery on Freelance Review where we feature work from the world's top agencies and creatives a very prestigious honor.
We're handing out some great prizes.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
-Wacom Intuos4 medium pen tablet (a $349 value)
-$250 cash prize from 99designs
2nd Place Winner will receive:
-Premium membership to Picnik.com
3rd Place Winner will receive:
-Free expert Web content editing from Wordy.com
And the top 20 posters will also be immortalized in an upcoming HD Inspiration gallery on Freelance Review.
-The top 20 posters will be featured on Freelance Review
Our readers are primarily freelance designers, but non-freelance designers love our site as well. More specifically, our audience includes graphic designers, web designers and developers, employees of advertising agencies, students, pros and everything in the middle.
Dimensions of the poster should be 8.5 x 11 with a bleed if necessary. The poster must include the RTR logo (most prominently) as well as the Freelance Review logo (less prominently) and can optionally include the website address: http://www.freelancereview.net if it doesn't detract from the overall aesthetic. You can include the slogan "What matters to you" if you'd like.
Optionally - you can include only the RTR logo and present the words "Freelance Review" in a cool typographical treatment instead of using the official Freelance Review logo.
All designs must be family friendly. The top 20 winners will need to submit high-quality final versions of their posters. The grand prize winner must provide their address and contact information in order to claim the Wacom pen tablet.
