Bear Creek is a winery in Alaska, a country winery. We make fruit wines and fruit grape wine blends. We grow, pick, purchase, and process some of the best berries in the world and it shows in our hand crafted, award winning wines. Our target audience is people over 21 years of age.

Summary: I am desiring a label that highlights our existing logo/brand and glacier ice. A key concept of this wine line is that it uses fruit made in Alaska. I am looking for a clean looking design with high color contrast that will catch the eye of a customer from across the liquor store.
- glacier theme
- incorporates our existing Bear Creek Winery brand/logos
- tells the customer on the front label with a logo or text that this wine is "grown in Alaska"
- high contrast splash of color (see jade mtn attachment)
- method of differentiating between varietals (i.e. raspberry and black currant) this can be done using a graphic or color queue
A label for our new line of wines called Glacier wine. This label will be under the Bear Creek brand but be its own unique line. For reference view ste-michelle.com. They have multiple "collections" or lines of wine each under the Chateau St Michelle brand but with different graphics for the labels. I want to leverage the Bear Creek brand (please visit bearcreekwinery.com for reference, specifically the "logos" link under the Bear Creek tab, also view the attached blu zin file to see what we are currently using for labels and brand) that we have a faithful fan base under but employ a new look for our Glacier wines. The distinguishing characteristic of these wines is that we guarantee to use fruits grown in Alaska only to make them.
I am looking for a front/back label layout but want to focus on the front label design which will be our customers first impression of our wine and brand. A label size that works well for our bottles is 4.5"-6" tall by 2.25"-3" wide each.
I chose "Glacier Wines" as the title for this line because of the adjectives that are thought of when some one says the word glacier such as pure, strong, crisp, and true. The idea behind these wines is that they will be pure Alaskan fruit and have strong, true to the fruit flavors. We will be bottling numerous fruit varietals under this label but for now I want to focus on black currant.
I have attached some images of glacier ice that I like. This is a theme that I want to be present in the label. I also included a label that we developed for a new winery "Glacier Bear Winery" which we have gone away from in favor of keeping all of the wines under the Bear Creek name. The Bear Creek logo/branding needs to be represented on the label.
