Generally its the elderly market (age 50+ and 65% female) who use this product for things like arthritis and pain, however it seems the younger generation (age 30+) are starting to catch on. The design should appeal to the youth, while being legible for the elderly (no tiny text) especially contact details. We sell mostly to middle income customers, but the product appeals to lower incomes as well due to the affordability. We lack high income customers mostly due to marketing and the look and feel of the current product design/bottle, but would like to start targeting this demographic.

We’re looking for a few characteristics in regards to the style of the label: 1. Design must match the new bottle we will be using (image will be supplied). It is a dark amber colour with a bright orange lid. 2. Design will be used for multiple products across a range so must be adaptable in a way that shows that the products are all part of the same range 3. We want to use our Organic Turmeric design and have the colours in the circle O be used creatively throughout the design (note that the colours in the O can be changed to accommodate the design rather than trying to match the colours already in the "O") PLEASE NOTE: this is just an idea, so if you feel its not working or you have a better design/idea, just go with that. We're open to creativity. Just contact us if you're unsure. 4. We like the idea of two-tone designs rather than just a single background colour. Again, not a requirement but an idea that we have had. 5. Our products are in stores and online so the label needs to stand out both on the shelf and online. 6. "The Nutritional Information" on the bottle needs to be exactly as it is written, but the style is something we wanted changed to match other products in the market. Some other considerations are, we want it to be FRESH, like you want to grab/eat it right off the shelf. COLOURFUL, but not overwhelming. SIMPLE but not boring. STYLISH while still being legible. Please don't match colours from our website, as we want to match our website to this new design. Our Therapeia Australia Pty Ltd logo must be used as that is what is trademarked, but the colour can change and additional flare can be added to make it less static. We've attached our current label and some competitor product labels that we like and are doing well, just to give you an idea of what we currently have and what else is out there as well as the quality of design we're looking for. Elements that must be on the front of the label (other than the obvious). These elements are in order of importance so if something can't fit then focus according to the order they're in: 1. ACO logo (attached). Be sure to replace the XXXX with the number: 13008 2. The word "PLUS" which is this version of turmeric capsules as we have another version which is "ORIGINAL" so it should be added so it is distinguished from the rest of the text 3. The words "Manufactured in Australia" or something to that effect ie: "Premium quality, manufactured in Australia". We have some of the most strict regulations for manufacturing in Australia and want to convey that products manufactured here are of superior quality and safety. 4. Something to the effect that our product is tested 3 times before being sold, including pesticide, heavy metal and bacteria tests NOTE: the winner of this contest will be asked to create at least 2 other labels using the same style/template from the label they create
