I am looking for a LABEL for our juice bottles. There are SO many small juice companies out there now, so I have listed some example below to provide a frame of reference. We are a farm-to-table company that will be using organic ingredients, delivering in glass bottles that our clients can recycle or return, and want to stay away from the corporate look. I'm not sure the hippie/hipster/grassroots vibe is the best look either, BUT I do want personality on the label and it to properly represent our message.
Here is an example of what I DO NOT want because I find them boring and predictable:
These are tacky:
Shape of the label:
- Budget is a factor, so as much as I would like a uniquely shaped label, such as http://www.suzisqueeez.com, I don't know if the increased cost is worth it at this stage.
- This can be a wrap around label or fit on one side only. There is quite a bit of information that will need to go on the label so you may not have a choice, but do design a wrap around.
Shape of the bottle:
Cylinder. 16 oz bottles. Similar shape to the old milk man bottles. I have attached an image to give you frame of reference.
Information on the label:
We must include the Please keep in mind that my logo is awesome, BUT it doesn't scale that well. I want the logo to have a presence on my label, so while it doesn't have to be the center of attention, it certainly needs to have a strong presence.
We must include:
the size (16 fl oz)
the ingredients (i.e. kale, celery, apple, lemon)
the name of the juice (i.e. Full of Goodness)
the logo (The Juice Club, see attached logo)
the fact its NOT pasteurized
Its optional to include:
the tag line - Go Light. Stay Bright. Drink Juice.
(only if it naturally fits should you include the tag line actually)
other buzz words like RAW. COLD-PRESSED. ORGANIC.
a short section that can fit 1-2 sentences about the company and where the food comes from (most likely this would be on the back or side part of the label, just not the front)
Ideally one element of the label would be color coded according to the juices. For instance, a single banner that runs across the center of the label with the juice name would change colors from label to label. Two examples of color coded labels this would be:
Other juice company labels that are acceptable, but please don't replicate the exactly:
